Choose a guide or go straight to a tool

If you only need to see the picture, use the opening guide first. If an upload form rejects the extension, compare JFIF and JPG before re-encoding. Our JFIF guides explain what each change preserves and what it cannot fix.

  • JFIF to PNG: create a real PNG for an editor or form that requires it.
  • JFIF to JPG or JPEG: keep the original bytes or choose a fresh encoding.
  • JFIF to PDF: arrange several images as pages in one document.
  • JFIF to WebP: adjust quality and compare output sizes for a compatible app.
